Picked up this '84 Rabbit from Blair at VW, who got it from Jamal, who got it from Dave who got it as a gift. The car was originally sold in Richmond Hill Ontario, then in the late 80's it went to BC and then Dave brought it back to St. John's at some point in the last decade. My plans are simple, I want to lean how to make this car run, I want to stop the cancer growth on it and restore it but at the same time make it better. Here are the first few pics of the tear down.

The floors are pretty soft in the pans, and there are bunch of holes. And a bunch of it seems to be filled in with body filler ha ha ha. You will have to come over Scott and check it out.

Get your plastic money ready! May as well go full hog and get the round front and fenders too!

If you want to make an order let me know. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new exhaust for the GTI so we maybe able to get a better deal on shipping if you want in.

Yep Concept1 seems like the place to order from, but I found a guy on Vortex who has some for 40$ a each if he doesn't have them then I will do up an order with Concept1 ha ha ha.

Let me know. Steve McGingerale might have a hook up with Concept1 as well for bulk part orders.

Count me in on a concept one group order. Gerry at kings bridge should set himself up as a dealer, and you and I can work on that one. Also, when it comes time to put the interior back in give me those carpets and I'll have them like new.

Carpets are gone Chafe, full of mould and stained beyond recognition. Going to use a nice commercial carpet instead.

You could clean them and dye them black if they are stained bad. Fit wise you won't get better than factory stuff.

I'm in for a Concept1 order if we do one! Needs me a new rear sway bar.
My climate control consists of window cranks.
