Fitz is working on the body now, turns out the seam sealer was hiding a ton more rust  Ordered a bunch more metal for it, will update when the paint is done.

Thanks, whereas the Colonel is getting worked on slowly, piece by piece, while I enjoy it, Miss Scarlett is getting the full treatment now. Going to be an expensive venture but we want it done right from top to bottom. Not sure when it will get done, but hopefully some progress over Christmas. Fitz is really taking care to do it right, and there is lots to do.

Here is just a sample of what he found :S

Rust is gone, tons of new metal gone in.
We really didn't anticipate the amount of rust, or work that the body would need, but that is the joy of restoration.
When the car is done Ill be doing a more detailed post of the body work, but here is how it sits now. Needs the front valence fitted and a little more fab and it will be complete again.

Haha. Yeah Ive always wanted it the original color, and the family all agreed that orange looked better than red. Plus there are more red ones around here. This is the inspiration:

Car should be painted and back in my possession in the next few weeks. I will store it for now, and when I get a chance I will reassemble it then have it wet sanded and buffed.

Here is how it looks now:

Yeah, I am not sure when that will be, but I cannot wait to have it finally painted. It has been 20 long months, a lot of $ and a lot of delays getting here.

So excited! The car, no longer Miss Scarlet, is back to its original L20B Brilliant Orange paint. So happy I decided to go with this color, looks amazing.
Time to start ordering up some parts.
