recalls

Postby Fenny » Mar 20th, 2012, 7:11 pm

Wondering how I would find out if there is any recalls on my car. Reading a few forums claiming to be some new recalls and I'm wondering how recalls work when you are out of warranty.

Cheers.

You should be able to call VW with your vin and they can look it up and see if any are due. Even out of warranty, recalls are still performed free of charge. That's the way it worked at hyundai and it's the same at BMW.

Sorry I'm stuck home with the flu, I haven't been online in a few days. Just post up your VIN's and I can have the service department check for any recalls on your cars.

No prob Danny, get better. I stopped in today and there are 3 recalls on the car. I'm gonna schedule an appt next week.

Saw the V10 R8 and the new Golf R in there today as well. Happen to be looking out the window when I saw it go by my house. Pretty damn sweet. Wish canadians were able to get a 2 door up here.
