He literally did mention the wheels actually. He also mentioned something about Fleetwood Mac and some sort of secret agenda to help with the bags?

Awesome to see him out honestly, would love it if Lutz, Skinny and everyone else stopped out once in a while too.

Lots of old stories that reminded me of why I got into VW's in the first place. Mostly about Chips and his adventures, or Robbie and his Rocco, or Lutz and his Cabby.

I did a drive by Thursday night in the mustang. Saw two or three vw's there but didn't recognize anyone so didn't stop.
I was looking at possibly bringing the cabby to the dub show this year but its a race weekend so i need to go to that.

Had cabby for a nice drive yesterday, started on second turn of key. Pretty good since it hasn't run since november.

Once the bus is done I'll probably split my my time between cars. Bus on thursdays mustang on sundays and squeeze cabby in there once and a while.

Guys, just found out I am not going to be able to attend the show. It will be the first one I've missed since I started going in about 2003 at Poppy's old garage, and I hate to miss this event.

I have ti go to Moncton for work until Friday evening, and with flights and Moncton being impossible to get out of I won't be home in time. I will of course still sponsor the event, I have to try an arrange for somebody to get cars to and from the park while I'm away.

Wish you all the best, cacth up with at some point over the summer I'm sure.

Busy few days getting things ready for the show, but myself and Jon are getting there, with tons of help along the way.

Shirts and stickers have been picked up (and look awesome) and will be handed out at the show.

We have a ton of prizes to give away. We have some larger prizes and will have a bunch of smaller prize packs made. Everyone that enters a car will leave with something! Remember, there is no voting, so if you register a car you have a chance to win any prize. We also have some things to give away to any kids that show up, whether they are with someone who enters a car or not, limited supplies there but hopefully most kids will get something.

Remember, the show is free. You can enter your car without paying any registration fee, and you and your family can come check out the show for free. We will be taking donations of non-perishable food items, if you have something to spare. It is not mandatory to bring one. We will have a bbq at the show with hot dogs and drinks for an awesome price, with proceeds supporting Ronald McDonald House.

This year we have a few new things going on. There will be a couple of VW parts there for auction, again with proceeds going to charity. The parts will be beautifully powder coated by Extreme Powder Coating. No minimum amount needed, whoever has the highest bid at the show will get them.

Also, customeuropeanplates.com has sent us two euro plates. One will be given away as a prize to a lucky participant, and the other will be up on tickets. Again proceeds going to charity.

The show is going ahead rain or shine. We will have some radio stations out announcing the show, and possibly giving away some prizes too. So bring your car, bring out the family, and enjoy the day with us. We will have some shelters set up so there will be some shelter if we get a shower, or if the sun is too hot.
