Postby lew » Mar 1st, 2011, 12:29 am

Upgrade is complete, most things are working fine but just in case here is a list of things I am working on over the next few days. Please bare with me.

1. Attachments. Old ones aren't working.
2. Modifications to over ride user time format settings, the month date format currently makes the rows to high on index.
3. More emoticons
4. Add rules
5. Add Fenny as moderator
6. Add Vendor Forums
7. Upgrade phbb version
8. Fix seperator in navigation on top of page below last visit date
9. Fix time
10. Email. Not receiving when PM sent.
11. Force links to open in new window
12. Favicon
13. Image scaling
14. Latest post arrow link doens't work within forums.
15.

Please reply to this thread if you spot an issue and I'll add it to the list.

The time just needs to be adjusted within each users control panel. They just need to click off on the summer/dsl time and it goes back to 1 hour. In a couple weeks time it will be fine anyway because the clocks go ahead by 1 hour and all will be well.

This is excellent. Good work Lewis, much nicer layout. Also, new logo is spot on. When we do a new run of VOGN stickers we should use that format.

The site really does look, and work, great. Great work! Now we just need a "get more people posting" mod. Too many 0 post users lol.

^ I agree. Hopefully the spring and summer will make some changes to that but then again some people just like to lurk.

I have a suggestion. Is there a way to make it so clicking a link opens in a new window or tab, instead of using the current one and taking you away from the site.

Thanks.

Doing things is overrated.
The only thing that is important is the cutting off of pics.

I personally would hate the opening of new windows on links. I just right click - new tab, depending on your browser, but any of the later ones should have this. Some you can press the wheel to open in a new tab as well.

Or do you mean specifically external links?

I just got a new MacBook Pro and I got my lab environment setup to start playing with trying to get that to work. Since I got the new lappy I've been more motivated to do computer related things so maybe soon!

It would be only external links. I think that is a quick fix so I'll likely be doing that right away when I start back at the work soon.
