Pothole damage

Postby DIESEL BULLDOG » Jan 29th, 2017, 2:18 pm

I just hit an unmarked pothole on Pitts Memorial between Columbus and Commonwealth (a little ways before that gated turn off spot). It damaged the front driver's side suspension, so now my tire is rubbing against the spring seat. Has anyone ever dealt with the city over damages resulting from potholes? I know in Ontario, the city will cover the damages, but I have heard that is not the case in St. John's.

Pitts Memorial is the Province. Good luck.

I think it is DOT who maintains that road. Better chance of winning the lotto them getting anything from them.
