1982 BMW 320i

Postby shicks » Nov 15th, 2013, 1:07 am

I got to clear out some of the cars around the house. I have a pair of BMW 320I's that I would like to move. The red car can be restored using the grey car for parts. I purchased the red car back in 1986 from downtown BMW in toronto. We used the car until we moved back to Newfoundland in 1996. I would start and move the car around the yard keeping everything free and engine running. But it's been a long time since the car has been going, probably 10 years. It will need a complete restoration. It has rust but still has a very tight body. Everything is there and the car can be moved easily. The grey car has a bonnet and new front fenders that will be needed for the red car. It to is a complete car.
These cars came to north america with very few options, basically most cars were the same. Here are the specs
Red car 320is (sport)
1.8 4 cylinder ohc
5 speed
limited slip rear end
sunroof
power mirrors
cloth interior
Grey Car 320i
1.8
3 speed auto
everything else the same as the red car.

these cars replaced the iconic 2002 bmw. they handle great, ride excellent and are cheap to own. they are just starting to attact a following so the prices are on the rise.

Of course I'm not looking for much. I'm presently building my rabbit truck. It looks like I got to buy some shocks and taillights. going to cost me 400.00. So I'm pricing the bimmers at the same 400.00 for both.

Just did some quick checking. All the big stuff will fit my 2002 with a 5 speed swap. I only want the red car as the automatic isn't any good to me. I can have it pcked up sometime next week.

Thanks
Justin

So depending on what you need I have spares that are out of the car. If you just need a gear box I got one out.
What year is the 2002?
